A moderate 2.5 mile (4.2km) walk in Crychan Forest from the Cefn Farm car park. At a leisurely pace the walk will take about 1.5 hours.
You’ll pass the ruins of the old 19th century farmhouse Glyn Moch before dropping down to the stream in Cwm Dulas. Try to imagine pigs rooting about here – as Glyn Moch means ‘valley of pigs’. Easy tracks return you to the start at Cefn Farm.
Crychan Forest Walking Trail follow the orange arrows in a figure of eight past the ruins of Glyn -Moch an old farmstead, to the new footbridge over the Afon Crychan
Cefn Farm Car Park – Take the A483 from Llandovery for 2.6 miles and turn right at the second minor road on the right. Follow this single track road for 1.4 miles. There are very few passing places, and caution is required. It is suggested that you turn right as you leave Cefn Farm car park to avoid meeting traffic using your approach road. The entrance is on your right.
