Llyn Brianne Reservoir
A man-made lake amidst pine covered hills magnificent views,
with mountain roads. The reservoir was built in 1973 damning
the River Towy which runs through the county's major Towns
(Llandovery, Llandeilo and Carmarthen) entering the sea at
Ferryside / Llanstephan. |

Llandovery
Llandovery is a historical market town on the north-eastern
part of Carmarthenshire, boarding the Brecon Beacons National
Park, with a medieval Norman castle, craft and heritage centre.
It is ideally situated for touring south, west and mid Wales. |

Llanwrtyd Wells
With a population of about 600 Llanwrtyd Wells is the smallest
town in Britain. Most of the buildings are of Victorian origin,
due to the mineral springs. In Victorian times people flocked
to take the waters for healing ailments. |
