Dan y Parc is a 17th century farmhouse, which is set in 14 acres of farm and woodland beautifully situated on the border of the Beacon Beacons National Park and the gateway of the Cambrian mountains. The Guest House provides panoramic views and comfortably decorated en-suite bedrooms with TV and tea / coffee facilities. The residential lounge with beamed ceiling and log fire leads to our dining area, where we serve a good hearty full-cooked or continental breakfast. Homemade evening meals are available made using a variety of fresh local produce. Vegetarian food is one of our specialities.

Bring your horse on holiday

A high standard of accommodation has been provided for your horse to relax and enjoy their stay. Consisting of four large stables and a well fenced paddock, with ample parking for horse boxes. Just a short ride or carriage drive from Dan y parc is the Cefn Entrance to Crychan Forest. We welcome carriage drivers at Danyparc.

The Bunkhouse
Ynysmarchog Farm, Trecastle

Ynysmarchog bunkhouse in Trecastle is situated just 4 miles from the “Halfway” access point to Crychan Forest. This means a 5 minute drive, or you can ride or cycle across the mountain on the old Roman road.

Thus we are ideally positioned for access to the many horse and bike trails of the forest and the new 50 mile Epynt Way trail.

Briefly we can accommodate 14 in the main bunkhouse and 4 in the annexe. There are facilities for grazing horses plus a 50ft. round pen and lockable rooms for bikes and tack.
